Eoin Brazil gave us a lecture on Arduino today - an open source physical computing platform. It's a simple i/o board and a development environment. It can be used with C, Flash, Processing, PD, Max/MSP, Ruby. Doesn't work with Director. IDC has twenty of these on order.

We could you one of these Arduino boards in a medium fidelity prototype of our concept. 14 Digital IO - can be input or ouputs as set by software.
